Not Me!! Monday

Tracy.....this one's for you....yes...I'm actually updating!!

Here is something that I am copying from a friend, who copied it from a friend, who copied....blah blah blah!! But seriously, I will need to credit my friend Jessica for this one...I read the post on her blog, and from the original not me! Monday post. Check out her blog: MacMamma's Page. So in the spirit of letting things go......here I go!!

[1] I certainly did not feed my son cheesecake for dinner last night, and silently tell myself that I have just won the mother of the year award for feeding my child dessert instead of a healthy nutritious dinner.

[2] I was not the one who this morning took all the linens from upstairs and threw them over the balcony onto the floor in our entry way and have just left them there. (Our family left today to head back to AZ). Because I am always on top of laundry in our house, and would never leave it in my entry way for people to stumble upon.

[3] And I would never be the mom who lets her child sit in front of the TV and watch mindless cartoons, just so I can play bejeweled blitz on Facebook - it would never be that addicting!!

[4] Lastly, I would never admit that inside I'm secretly happy that I have my house back, and it is all quiet on the home front. I truly do love my family, and am always happy to have the chance to visit with them!!

So I haven't updated in a while, with our without pictures, so I thought I'd add some. We went to the Ranger game a week or so ago. Life otherwise has been pretty uneventful. Just living life and being a mom and a wife, but hey....who could ask for anything more?!?

Back in the blogging world.....

So I have looked and the last time I posted was almost a year ago. In the midst of moving, starting a church, and finding out we are pregnant....I have lost track of time. After reading many of my friends blogs, I find that I am severly impaired in the world of blogging. So....here is my vow....to become a better blogger. To let our friends and family know what is going on in our little world. I am trying to tweek my layout so it doesn't look so stupid, and get some pictures posted of monkey...my oh my how he's changed from the pictures a year ago. Love to all!!

Our new roof......ARGH!!!

We are getting our new roof today - and the banging is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! Brandon took monkey man with him to a meeting, because the noise was just too much for him. They have blocked my Tahoe in with the dump truck in the driveway, so I can't go anywhere......and I think that I'm going to go in-sane with the noise. But I know I'll survive, only a few more hours to go......at lease daddy took his little boy out for some sanity!!!

Drive in...

So last week, we went to the drive-in down in Ennis. Monkey LOVED it!!! We went to see Batman: The Dark Knight. Way cool. Who knew Heath Ledger could be so psycho.....but a GREAT flick, none the less.

Tired little boy

Monkey fell asleep on the way home from dinner tonight, what a tired little boy. Tomorrow we are all going to the zoo. This will be Samuel's first visit to see all the animals. Hopefully he'll enjoy it - he's at a perfect age, and he's super nosey. I'll post some pictures tomorrow!!
